- AM. Around 08 h 30. CEL guide will welcome you at your hotel and enjoy a driving on the road No 13 north to Nam Ngum Dam around 90KM, Nam Ngum lake a huge beautiful, artificial lake was created as arterial Dam. Nam Ngum river has a source in the Northern of Laos closed to the Plan of Lars run to the Mekong River. The lake is dotted with picturesque small islands. On the way stop over to visit Hmong market at KM 52, and visit archeological site of Vangxang which dated back to around 11-12 Centuries of Mon-Khmer Period. Arrive at the lake at noon. Take motor boat on the lake for panoramic view and island people.
Lunch at Nam Ngum Lake restaurant.
Afternoon drive back to Vientiane on different road (Road No. 10) and visit Ban Keun and Ban Bo, where a traditional salt extraction plant can be seen. Arrive in Vientiane late afternoon and transfer to your hotel or guest house.
